SUNKOSHI RIVER RAFTING ( 10 days)
Sunkoshi River Rafting, Sunkoshi " River of gold" is one of the finest
rivers available for rafting because it is considered to be one of the
10 classic rivers in the world. It starts from the bottom of Mt.
Sisapangma and Langtang range of Nepal. Tibet border & runs through
the Mahabharat Parbat range. Gathering power from tributaries draining
some of the highest peaks of the world it emerges on to the northern
plains of India where it flows into the Gangas. From Dolalghat to its
end at Chautara it runs for 270 km with grade 3-5 rapids. The
experience is only enhanced by the experienc of remote village nestled
on the laps of hills; Hindu temples and religious spots along the way
make this trip really joyful
Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Dolalghat begin river trip in
afternoon & overnight tent camp.
Day 02: Rafting continue below Dumja village rafting around 4 hours
and overnight tent camp.
Day 03: Continue rafting below Khunkot rafting around 6 hours and
overnight tent camp.
Day 04: Raf continue below Likhu Khola rafting around 5 hours and
overnight tent camp.
Day 05: Rafting continue below Harkapur village rafting around 6 hours
& overnight tent camp.
Day 06: Continue rafting below Rai Ghat rafting around 6 hours and
overnight tent camp.
Day 07: Rafting continue below Bander Ghat rafting around 6 hours and
overnight tent camp.
Day 08: Raft continue below Bonjur Ghat rafting around 6 hours and
overnight tent camp.
Day: 09: Regular below Barahchhatra rafting around 6 hours and
overnight tent camp.
Day 10: After short raft and reach out points Chatara and drive to Kathmandu.
