Ganesh Himal Trekking

Ganesh Himal trekking is situated in the central Nepal in the northwest side of the Katmandu valley is regarded as one of least explored routes by the tourists. The terraced slope gives the impression as if they are going to touch the sky. Here the various ethnic groups ranging from Brahmin, Chhetri, Newar, and Tamang are living in harmony giving you the real taste of all Nepali culture. Since the topography here is very harsh the trekkers should be in very good physical condition and some initial experience in trekking can add the plus point. Since Ganesh Himal rests in the lap of Gorkha and Dhadhing, Gorkha has got the historical background too.  The temples of Gorakhnath and kali are other highlight of this place. Here 526 species of plant variety are found which includes 40 different species of orchids.

This place also grants shelter to diverse group of wild animals such as Himalayan thar, gore and musk deer. Gorkha also showers you with 35 mountains over 6000m.  Singala pass, Dharka, Jasail Kunda, Jyamrung, Kasigaun, Khanchok are other places you can visit to view the scenic beauty it has got.
